Role Overview
Job Purpose: Provide an intensive practical training opportunity for the Intern to gain hands-on operational and analytical experience. Support internal teams with desk and field market research, data surveying, and data analysis under direct supervision to aid informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Assist team members in executing daily operational tasks, data entry, and workflow tracking. Conduct comprehensive desk and field market research to gather insights on industry trends and competitive intelligence. Execute quantitative and qualitative data surveying to collect operational, commercial, and customer data from diverse sources. Analyze collected datasets using spreadsheet modeling and basic data analytics tools to identify patterns and metrics. Prepare preliminary analytical reports, visual data charts, and presentation decks outlining market research findings. Organize, index, and archive electronic and hard-copy documents and research data files. Coordinate and follow up with internal team members to track progress against project deadlines. Attend team meetings, draft meeting minutes, and track action items. Comply strictly with company policies, working hours, and guidance provided by the supervisor.
Qualifications: Fresh graduate or final-year university student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with strong Excel skills for data manipulation and PowerPoint for reporting). Basic understanding of market research methodologies, data surveying techniques, and data analytical concepts. Good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken. Strong analytical mindset, passion for learning, and eagerness to develop data interpretation skills. No prior work experience required (academic research projects or student activity experience is a plus).
